Cornell EMS on the Slope

The celebration of the end of the spring semester at Cornell University is known as Slope Day. Slope Day is a large gathering of undergraduate, graduate, and faculty members of Cornell University on Libe Slope. The day revolves around live music played from the base of Libe Slope and also includes a carnival and games on Ho Plaza. As Slope Day marks the end of classes on a collegiate campus, alcohol and drugs are often involved.

Cornell EMS provides emergency medical service for the duration of the events on Slope Day. CUEMS places multiple foot crews in service on Slope Day and makes members available to the Cornell community to help ensure the safety of everyone on the Slope. Cornell EMS members work closely with foot crews from Environmental Health & Safety, Cornell University Police Department, and Bangs Ambulance.
