Slope Day

Slope Day is an annual day of celebration held each May following the last day of classes. Undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff gather on Library Slope to enjoy live music, food, and beverages. In recent years, event coordinators have added a carnival on Ho Plaza, extending the area and scope of the event. Unfortunately, as Slope Day marks the conclusion of classes on a college campus, alcohol and drugs are often involved.

In addition to our normal emergency response services, CUEMS provides emergency medical services on the slope in conjunction with Bangs Ambulance. CUEMS works closely with members of Environmental Health & Safety and Cornell University Police to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for all.
